Bookbinding Workshop
After studying museology and completing an apprenticeship under the guidance of Odette Drapeau, Delphine Platten opened her bookbinding studio in 2017 with the intention of creating a space for creation, innovation, exchange, and collaboration centered around the book arts.
She offers expertise in both traditional and contemporary fine bookbinding, box making (cartonnage), and book conservation, working with a diverse clientele including private individuals, institutions, and corporate clients.
The studio also functions as a school whose mission is to make the art of bookbinding and cartonnage accessible through a contemporary, playful, and welcoming approach.

Notebook Bookbinding Workshop with Delphine Platten
Offer your colleagues a timeless pause, conducive to focus and creativity, guided by Delphine Platten, fine bookbinder.
This workshop begins with an exploration of the history of paper and its physical properties flexibility, strength, and texture. Participants will learn how to prepare their materials before crafting a beautiful hand-stitched notebook with patience, precision, and intention.
Each participant leaves with a unique notebook made by their own hands and perhaps a few well-organized ideas tucked between its pages.
